good afternoon and this is a present I was given to our Costa our community of school last week by Mister Titus Campos I will also be thui I will just go ahead and meet with the Pacific that he did last week so we are back Early Education Elementary will be going to school 5 days a week for a full day in person instruction secondary if you have students secondary 5 days a week before picture of Empire instructions students will move from class one classroom to another class went to see all of the teachers what are we outside we are excited to have everyone back we are going to be able to open our camp completely we're going to have the playground open completely and we going to have on procedures in place to ensure the safety of our students doing doing any activities that I've done in the classroom and doing good day and during recess and lunch recess and as you can see you some comments from some of our students I'm sure if we spend a few seconds while I want to read those comments zodiac celebration of learning the most important things that we that the district will be helping us and will be provided for us is more reading and math we just wear our coaches to assist our students and to help maximize the time that we have into reiterate and to reintroduce any skills that might have been missed the pie we are going to have more one-on-one tutoring and small-group instruction our technology has been updated and we are continuing to update our technology for all of us students at the same students will students wellness and support for groups of students will continue we're going to have more mental health and student wellness Services provided by the district and at the at the school site I am happy to say that we apply for a 5-day PSW to be an Exquisite and we should be receiving a response regarding that request pretty soon but I know that we are at least going to get any days a week so I'm asking for 5 get that we have more stuff to help connect with families there's a hotline for this particular support group for students and families and that be available for our family that live within the leusd and they'll be able to provide services Mental Health Services and that number is 213-241-3840 and the hotline is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday they had a on campus so Transportation school bus transportation to and from campus will be available for all those who qualify research and nutrition students will be able to use the playground man enjoy sports doing with oil nutrition lunch meal Oscars will be able to get the mail at no charge this is something new that the governor has signed recently so all students will be able to get a breakfast lunch and your supper for your time after school programs will now be available its high-quality station supervised academic enrichment and Recreation program from the end of the school day does 6 p.m. and if he asks students in secondary they are excited to return to a normal sports schedule the outcome it to safety so we have receiving games from the health officials and offices we are also looking at them at the safety protocols that they are bringing down the district has updated all a air filtration system AMA do they do it the doctors every month there's going to be additional support so we are going to get an additional be in gr janitorial staff to be an additional 8 hours to help us continue to keep our school clean and disinfect I guess that I highly used by everyone on campus and we're going to continue to promote hygiene and promoted as soon as to wash your hands by speaking as possible we're going to continue having our hand sanitizer station throughout the schools to allow students go ahead and use the sanitizing covid-19 19 testing will continue on campus and of course vaccinations will be available for adults that way between a literacy and will be available for student 12 years and older so welcome back to school message video I will show a video that was created by a local district and please enjoy hello my name is dr.
