good morning koalas and Welcome to our Monday morning assembly I hope you had an exciting and fun weekend my name is Hoku your student council representative please join me in the Pledge of Allegiance priest and put your right hand over your heart ready. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible Ricky and justice for all thank you you may be seated koala we be sure to join us on October 28th from 2:40 to 5 p.m. for our Delavan favorite Halloween the return of harvest fest we will have lots of spooky activities games and tons of fun we need volunteers to help make this event happen parents please sign up for a short 30-minute shifts bit.ly / koala ween 22 and join us as we bring this Delavan favorite back to our Delavan community if you go to E3 after school you can attend koala Bean if you have a wristband Ali three kids with wristbands will escorted around wallowing by E3 teachers also if you want to load one photo to be part of the altar please return your sugar skulls frames and cannot be related to your teachers by two October 25th Harvest Fest Delvin families are sixth grade class of 2023 will be hosting 6th grade zombie brain freeze treats at koala wearing this Friday we need donations of drinks sparkling water bottled water sodas and all proceeds from the 6th grade concessions will help send R6 Delavan 6th graders to outdoor Science school San Gabriel Mountains for five days this February please bring your donation to the front office by this Friday thank you so much for your support remember to recycle all your drinks painters while you work while you are at wallowing in our special cardboard recycling boxes and not only keeps our school clean but also helps reduce waste for our environment Delavan recycling to bring your clean bottles and cans in front in front of the office Monday morning November 14th for second Delavan community recycling day we will take your donations as well as all the recycling from the from koalas onto the roof Blind Center in Glendale Delavan families can you spare an hour and your pickup truck to help us transport our recycling please contact info at Delavan pga.org to help reflections we extended the deadline to turn in our Reflections our project to November 4th this year is Reflections our theme is show your voice Unleash Your creativity and more than one category including gas choreography composition literature photography Film Production and visual arts remember submissions are due November 4th at pta.org reflections Rocky 1 this week's Wacky Wednesday on October 26th is Halloween shirt day it's almost Halloween koalas let's dress up and wear any Halloween themed t-shirt to celebrate Halloween it could be any did me and any of the Halloween colors like orange green purple and black you can even get creative and draw or tape any Halloween themed picture on your shirt next week's Wacky Wednesday next week do you want stay on November 2nd is stuffed animal day let's bring our stuffed animal to school koalas it could be any animal like a bear dog cat or even a koala looking ahead to Future Rocky pajama day will be on November 9th and November 16th will be sports day the October Ivy character traits Spotlight is balanced we understand the importance of balancing different aspects of Our Lives intellectual physical and emotional to achieve well-being for ourselves and others we recognize our interdependence with other people and with the world in which we live our October Ivy character quote of the week for balances it's all about quality of life and finding a happy balance between work and friends and family by Philip green now for the school now for the students of the week for October 17th through October 21st images of Paris utk class the student of the week is Sayo keep up the it works sale the student of the week in mrs. Pratt good morning koalas good morning koalas and happy Monday to all of you you Hoku and I want to first of all congratulate congratulate all of our koala who were our students of the week you have been exhibiting balanced behaviors during what years how to do a side of the classroom as well as outside of the classroom great job and we have some koalas so many koalas that have been Ernie koala cash for the last couple of weeks and Miss Hernandez and the office have pulled five names for me and let's see who those lucky winners are for this week's so those students whose koala cash that I pulled out this has pulled out of our koala jar you are when I call your name you are our winner for this week and you may come into the office during your recess or lunch after you've eaten your lunch and you've been dismissed from the table you may come to the office and choose from our prize box that we have so many new wonderful prizes for you from which you can select so our first winner is Miguel in room 204 Mexico Stats class Haitians Miguel we have Jaden science 3rd grade congratulations Jaden we have Roxy Violet from mr.
