Pratt thank you Samantha and happy New Year to all of our koalas welcome back to school this 2023 starting the new year the semester I hope I hope you all had a wonderful one winter break with family and friends and are back to and ready to resume our studies this semester increasing our knowledge in 2023 and you know what to help us increase our knowledge we are fortunate to have addition of 2000 brand new books in our library so I'm excited to see all of the new books that all of our koalas will be reading and I want to thank Miss Garcia our for being here a few days over the winter break to get all of those books processed and on the shelves and ready for are koalas to read I want to congratulate all of our December students of the month keep up the good work and will be earning this month will be earning a new koala cash for all of our students exhibiting you no respectful responsible and safe behaviors in the classroom and out of the classroom so we have nice new blue little call Akash a bucks work for all of our koalas to earn this month next Monday in honor of dr. Martin Luther King jr. we will have a holiday so next Monday be no school will be sending home alert flyer for our parents to remind them as well as a connected message to keep our families reminded of the holiday next Monday as we celebrate Dr Martin Luther King Jr today we have our environmental program starting we have our K-12 at 8:45 and our third and fourth graders at 9:25 at our our assemblies will be in the auditorium I would like to just take a moment to restate what great job all of our boys and girls and our staff members did in putting on a magnificent winter program are boys and girls performed for a program and the first program was just as good as the last Graham so great job again to all of our koalas into our staff members and all of our parents that attended and thanks we thank our parents also for helping to support our sixth graders as we get ready for our 6th grade science this week in the mountains next month and we raised a good deal of money to help support our students attending that week of instruction in the San Gabriel mountains so thanks again parents for your support and to all of our boys and girls for a wonderful job let's have a magnificent or a terrific Tuesday before we go let's have our drawing from our koala cash from the last week that we were here in December 5 Lucky folks who we have drawn their names and our first winner is Kaylee Campos from mrs.
