welcome back Lawless welcome turn Monday morning assembly my name is Riley and colitis the 6th grade student your 6th grade student council representative please join me in the Pledge of Allegiance please stay on your right hand over your heart ready begin I pledge allegiance to the flag of United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under with liberty and justice for all thank you may be seated welcome let's give a warm welcome to our new office clerk that will be replacing miss Sally her name is Miss when you get when you see her give her a warm Delavan welcome by little fast Miss Ashley is a Delavan alumni once a koala always a koala PTA membership election elections for 2023 to 2020 for PTA board are coming up March 3rd become a part of our PTA team help us support students teachers and school all of our board positions are open and we are excited to see what ideas our new PJ team will bring to our school more information will be coming soon but if you're interested in a particular particular position please contact info at Delavan pta.org to get more information I guess it was a Delavan spirit dark spirit wear store is open stop by and check out the latest Delavan shirts and hoodies simply visit spirit hero.com and type Delevan Drive in the school box and start shopping Delavan School senior let's show our school spirit koalas every Friday come to school wearing any Delavan where you could be us on koalas on or even a student council shirt basically any items with koala or Delavan On It Go Delavan call Bob stickers continue to bring can use reusable water bottles everyday to help save our first Marketplace are sixth graders we going around the classroom handing out stickers and any random dates do you show them your balls once they get there Wacky Wednesday this week's Wacky Wednesday on February 1st is Crandon let's come to school an outfit of one color you can wear any color from the Cranbrook next Wacky Wednesday text Wacky Wednesday on February 8th is just need to come to school wearing anything Disney is anything Disney themed outfit it could be smart and Pixar shirts me and Minnie ears ducktail shirts and more future Wacky Wednesday Wacky Wednesday is on February 15th day is on February 22nd a genuine Ivy character traits as knowledgeable as we develop conceptual understanding we no understand exploring knowledge across strange disciplines we engage with issues and ideas that have Global local and Global significance a genuine Ivy character quote of the week more knowledgeable is more that you read the more things that you'll know the more that you learn the more Places You'll Go by dr. Chang 6th grade classes Alina thumbs up to you Lena and miss sixth grade class the skin of the month is Samantha knew you could do it Samantha congratulations to all the students of the month you are all amazing thank you for listening now here's q words for my favorite koala. Thank you Lila and good morning koalas so good to see you all here the sun is trying to peek out it was a little wet this morning and we were able to see a Butte full rainbow over our campus so that was a nice treat this morning want to congratulate all of our students of the month for January keep up the good work I can't wait to see who our students of the month for Larry will be you know I love that quote that was read by dr. Seuss and I am tying into our IB profile of knowledge and we have so many excellent readers here at Delavan trying to gain more knowledge day-by-day in the morning before school during recess lunch during your class time I see students taking out their library books reading reading all day long just wonderful excellent and we know that we have 2,500 new books in the library they've all been labeled with the Accelerated Reader label so that we know the levels of those books and we are we are just Day by today gaining more knowledge so keep up the good work koalas and continue to develop as a excellent readers this this week we're continuing our Lunar New Year celebration so instead of five students being selected for our koala cash winners this morning we are going to select 15 winners and those winners will each get a bag Goody's store everyone received last week everyone received a red envelope for the Lunar New Year the year of the rabbit and inside that Red Envelope was a koala cash book so you were able to everyone all 471 of our students have koala cash and you were able to put your names on it and they went into a drawing so we have our 15 winners and at this time I'm going to read those names and the students will come down at their recess or lunch. And after you have eaten your lunch recess and lunch and get your prize and I as I said that prize today is a bag of goodies so several prizes first winner is Olivia from K1 Miss Buena class Olivia our second winner Miguel wano from Miss Kessler's class room 204 winner numbers 3 Owen Pierce from Miss Laura's class room 101 our fourth winner Kenneth Ortiz room 24 Mr Chang's room and our 5th wheel tire rim 17 Miss Rivera R6 Twitter is Julian Camacho room 209 are seventh winner is Levi Washington room c h 8 winner is Isley elegado room D Miss Louis class our ninth winner is Jack Wakim Miss mrs. Lynn's classroom 205 number 10 or tent winter is Grayson room 24 mr. Chen's class our 11th winner is Uriel room 23 mrs. yeast class or 12th winner is Eric Garcia room 202 our 13th winner where is Mia Garcia room 20 six mrs.
